Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems (HVAC-R)
This 9-week HVAC-R course provides hands-on training in commercial refrigeration systems. Students will learn the installation, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of ice machines, walk-in coolers, and reach-in refrigerators. Topics include refrigeration cycles, electrical controls, compressors, evaporators, condensers, refrigerant handling, system diagnostics, workplace safety, and proper use of industry tools and equipment. Students will gain practical experience while following OSHA safety practices and industry standards to prepare for entry-level employment in the HVAC and refrigeration industry.9 week course
