National School Counseling Week 2020, “School Counselors: Helping Build Better Humans,” will be celebrated from Feb. 3–7, 2020, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems.
Marlen Martinez has been working in Bassett Unified since 2010. In her short time here, she has worked at Nueva Vista, Bassett High, Torch and has found a home at the Adult School. She is passionate about Adult Education, and her implementation of a Media Resource Center is a gem on the adult School Campus. Her dedication to Bassett extend into many areas, including our Genesis program, our teen pregnancy program, and articulations with Mt. SAC, Rio Hondo, and our CTE Pathways.
