Join us in celebrating National School Nurse Day this Wednesday, May 8th! We are grateful for our School Nurses and thank them for the hard work and dedication they provide to students, schools and the community. They support students' health and help make sure that they are healthy, safe and ready to learn.
National School Nurse Day was established to foster a better understanding of the role of school nurses in the educational setting. Since 1972, National School Nurse Day has been set aside to recognize school nurses who provide professional health services and assist in protecting the well-being of students.
The School nurses of the Bassett Unified School District deserve our recognition and honor for their dedicated service to our Bassett students, families, and community.
At the Tuesday, April 23, 2024 Board of Education meeting, Resolution #028-24 proclaiming May 8, 2024, as National School Nurse Day was approved.
